Dr. Moore grew up in western Kentucky before setting off to Centre College for undergrad. Upon graduating with a love for athletics and higher education, he took a position as a teaching assistant while working on his masters. Being a teaching assistant gave him his first teaching experience, and from there he spent the last decade plus of his life serving as an educator from time spent as a kindergarten teacher all the way to teaching courses at the University of Kentucky while completing his doctorate. He and his wife reside in Bowling Green, KY with two amazing older dogs, Herbie and Elinor. Go Blue Raiders!

Kristina Andrews grew up in West-Central Wisconsin on a small family dairy farm. After receiving her BA in Biology she worked as a research Biologist before working on obtaining her MS in Education from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. Throughout her 18 year tenure as a public school teacher in Elementary, Middle, and High School, she was inspired by her students to pursue a doctoral degree that would assist her in addressing the needs of her culturally and linguistically diverse students that were not being met with the current educational structures and policies. Hence, she pursued her EdD in Curriculum and Instruction at Florida Gulf Coast University and began an active research agenda with international scholars in the field of refugee education, multicultural education, human rights, social justice, global citizenship education, and diversity. Dr. Andrews furthered her outreach of actively promoting for social justice and human rights by presenting at international conferences including WERA and AERA. During her doctoral journey she served as a Graduate Assistant for an international scholar, as editor for international peer-reviewed journals and graduate dissertation papers, and as reviewer for conferences. Since graduating, she continues her research agenda in order to advocate for equitable educational experiences for all students.
Dr. Andrews's greatest joy is her daughter and son-in-law (and soon to be grandchild). She and her husband reside in their newly-found piece of paradise in the hills near Columbia with their two rescue cats and two rescue dogs.
