Upon graduating with a love for athletics and higher education, he took a position as a teaching assistant while working on his masters. Being a teaching assistant gave him his first teaching experience, and from there he spent the last decade plus of his life serving as an educator from time spent as a kindergarten teacher all the way to teaching courses at the University of Kentucky while completing his doctorate. He and his wife reside in Bowling Green, KY with two amazing older dogs, Herbie and Elinor. Go Blue Raiders!
