AGBS 3003 – Farm & Agribusiness Management (3 credit hours)
Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
- Analyze farm and agribusiness operations to evaluate management decisions related to production, labor, finance, and risk.
- Apply management tools and financial information to develop effective strategies for improving farm or agribusiness performance.
- Assess the impact of managerial decisions on farm sustainability, profitability, and rural community viability.
AGBS 3013 – Agricultural Marketing & Supply Chains (3 credit hours)
Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
- Analyze agricultural markets and supply chain structures to identify factors influencing pricing, demand, and product movement.
- Apply marketing principles and supply chain concepts to develop strategies for agricultural products and agribusiness firms.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and supply chain decisions in enhancing competitiveness, value creation, and rural economic sustainability.
AGBS 3023 – Agricultural Technology & Information Systems (3 credit hours)
Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
- Explain the function and application of agricultural technologies and information systems used in farm and agribusiness operations.
- Apply data-driven tools and technologies to support management and operational decision-making in agricultural enterprises.

AGBS 3033 – Food Systems & Supply Chain Analysis (3 credit hours)
Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
- Analyze food systems and supply chain components using systems-based frameworks.
- Evaluate strengths, weaknesses, and risks within food supply chains, including disruptions and inefficiencies.
