LWC 2023 Spring Commencement

Elementary education graduate Dana Watts from Russell Springs, Kentucky, moves her tassel from right to left to signify her transition from student to graduate during Lindsey Wilson University’s 117th commencement ceremony on Saturday, April 29. The Class of 2023 was the largest ever in school history with a record 743 degrees conferred.


50 years since graduating from Lindsey Wilson University Golden Alumni

The LWU Golden Alumni Society recognizes those who are celebrating 50 years since graduating from Lindsey Wilson University. A total of 24 alumni were recognized on Friday afternoon. Krystal Clarke from Bel Air, Maryland, left, and Jessica Turner from Louisville, Kentucky, wait for the first part of LWU’s spring commencement celebration to begin on Friday evening, April 28. Clark and Turner attended LWU 100% online and received master’s degrees in counseling and human development.


LWU athletic program

President William T. Luckey Jr., poses with LWU athletics 2023 scholar-athletes at the campus quadrangle. Upon graduation, the scholar-athletes must be a part of an LWU athletic program and have a cumulative 3.5 GPA. LWU held its 2023 commencement ceremonies over two days to accommodate the large crowds in Biggers Sports.


Dieudonne Nishimwe

Master of Science in Technology Management graduate Dieudonne Nishimwe from Safford, Arizona, is congratulated by childhood friends who traveled from Tennessee, Ohio, Arizona, and Pennsylvania to cheer on their companion who they met years ago in a classroom in Rwanda. More than 150 students received master’s degrees from LWU as part of the spring Class of 2023.
