Ph.D. recipient Leon Ellison of Cincinnati moves the tassel of his mortar board right to left, to symbolically signifying his graduation from LWC. Ellison became the first graduate of the Doctorate of Philosophy in Counselor Education & Supervision Program. Ellison was among 411 individuals who were awarded undergraduate and graduate degrees as the first half of LWC’s Class of 2019 on Saturday, Dec. 15.
Leon Ellison of Cincinnati received a well-deserved standing ovation from graduates and onlookers as he crossed the stage in Biggers Sports Center on Saturday to become the first graduate of the Doctorate of Philosophy in Counselor Education & Supervision Program. It was the first Ph.D. awarded in Lindsey Wilson’s 115-year history.
