Who are we?
From humble beginnings as a training school to one of the fastest-growing
colleges in Kentucky, Lindsey Wilson College has a history of perseverance
and greatness that is the hallmark of everything we do. About 80 percent of LWC students come from Kentucky. The rest come
from more than two dozen states and almost three dozen foreign countries.
And LWC has one of the most diverse student populations among Kentucky's independent colleges and universities. More than 15 percent
of the LWC student body is composed of minority students.
Where are we? Lindsey Wilson College is located in Adair County on more than 200 partially
wooded acres on a hilltop in Columbia, which is in the Kentucky
Heartland – a region synonymous with outdoor recreation, camping, boating
and hiking. The campus is near several major tourist attractions, including:
Green River Lake State Park, Lake Cumberland State Resort
