Lindsey Wilson College’s Growing Online Program Adds Graduate Degrees in Cybersecurity Management, Data Science and Technology Management
COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson College is giving working adults three more opportunities to boost their careers – or begin a new one.
The college has added master of science degrees in cybersecurity management, data science and technology management.
“All three of these flexible programs were natural additions for Lindsey Wilson’s online program because they offer students excellent career possibilities and options,” said Dr. Helen MacLennan, dean of the Lindsey Wilson School of Graduate Business & Technology. “Cybersecurity management, data science and technology management are all fast-growing fields with exciting professional opportunities.”
The three affordable programs require 33 hours of course work, or 11 classes. The programs will take most students about 18 months to complete.
The new graduate programs join Lindsey Wilson’s six other online undergraduate and graduate programs that are also focused on helping working adults position themselves for career advancement without compromising academic quality.
MacLennan said that one of the new programs’ strengths is its faculty.
“Our faculty are experienced professionals who understand what students need in order to be successful in these emerging professions,” she said. “Along with our success coaches, our faculty work closely with our students throughout their journey to help keep them on track and get the most out of the material. Our faculty and support staff are committed to helping working adults pursue a degree while balancing work and family obligations.”
And all three new graduate programs can be paired with Lindsey Wilson’s online master’s of business administration program, which MacLennan said is an excellent way to give a student “an added career boost.”
“Earning an MBA along with a degree in one of our new graduate programs will take a student a little longer, but it’s an investment some students will want to make because it will put them in an excellent position in the workforce,” said MacLennan.
