Who are we?

The Lindsey Wilson College School of Professional Counseling (SPC) is an innovative counseling education that responds to the mental-health needs of a global society. Graduates are well prepared for work in a variety of settings, including mental health agencies, hospitals, and schools. LWC SPC is fully CACREP accredited program and prepares students for licensure as professional counselors.

The School of Professional Counseling partners with community colleges and mental health agencies in Appalachia and across five states to provide the undergraduate degree in Human Services & Counseling and the graduate degree in Counseling & Human Development with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling.

What do we do?

The LWC School of Professional Counseling boasts an enthusiastic, student-centered faculty whose interests include advocacy, play therapy, intimate partner violence, family counseling, substance abuse, career counseling, group counseling, multicultural counseling and neurofeedback.
