LWC presents the 28th-annual Safe Halloween


safe halloween COLUMBIA, KY. – Area children and their family members are invited to the 28th-annual Lindsey Wilson College "Safe Halloween." The annual trick-or-treat event for children will begin in the Doris and Bob Holloway Health & Wellness Center, 299 Williams St., on Monday, October 31. Groups will leave around every five minutes during the 6 - 8 p.m. CT window. 

The event is sponsored by the LWC Office of Residence Life and is free and open to the public. LWC students will escort children and their family members from the Holloway Health & Wellness Center through four residence halls decorated in various family-friendly themes. LWC students will greet the children dressed in costume. 

Children will receive store-bought, packaged candy from student residents. The tour will take less than an hour. For more information about “Safe Halloween” at Lindsey Wilson College, contact LWC Director of Residence Life Sarah Mitchell at mitchells@lindsey.edu or call 270-384-7383.
